I'm a high school senior aiming to major in American history and become a junior history teacher. I have completed my A-G requirements and want to attend an affordable college outside of my hometown, Bakersfield, to explore new experiences and opportunities. Can you recommend some colleges with strong history programs that won't break the bank, considering my interest in becoming a history teacher?
