Could I get into NYU?Answered
Hello, I am currently a junior in high school. My dream school is New York University, but I am concerned I won't be accepted. Also, I plan on majoring in Language & Literature, or Creative Writing. Does anyone have any advice on how to get into NYU, or just a more prestigious college?
Here are my stats so far:
-3.8 GPA
-Currently the Vice President of National Art Honor Society
-Gold Scholastic Key for Visual Art
-Silver Scholastic Key for Visual Art
-Held supporting roles in different plays at major theaters in my city
-Member of National Honor Society
-JV Tennis for 2 years
-Recieved a 4 on the AP Psychology Exam
-Recieved a 4 on the AP Human Geography Exam
-Member of my school's Black Student Union
-By the end of my senior year, I plan on having taken at least 9 AP classes

Hello!
You have an outstanding resume built for yourself. One thing I would advise would be, in your college essay make sure you are writing truly from your perspective. Do NOT write what you think they want you to write (Imagine how many other people are doing that). Best wishes, I know you can do it!
