Aerospace Engineering Colleges Recommendations

I am a junior at Meridian World School in Austin TX and I am persuing a full IB diploma. I have a 3.6 GPA and a SAT score of 1290. I have very strong extracurriculars in aerospace engineering and leadership. I have also done projects related to aerospace like constructing drones or teaching aerospace as well. Any college recommendations that I can most confidently get into? I'm aiming for a good-looking ranked university or otherwise a well-respected university.

I am not familiar with aerospace engineering, so I used Ivy assistant to find some recommendations for you based on your stats:

University of Texas at Arlington (UT Arlington): With its location in Texas, this public research university has a strong engineering program and offers a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering.

San Diego State University (SDSU): Located in California, SDSU is a well-regarded public university with a reputable aerospace engineering program.

California State Polytechnic University, Pomona (Cal Poly Pomona): Cal Poly Pomona is known for its hands-on approach to engineering education and offers a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering.

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (Daytona Beach, FL, and Prescott, AZ campuses): Embry-Riddle is a highly respected institution that specializes in aviation and aerospace programs. Both campuses offer Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering degrees.

Iowa State University: Located in Ames, Iowa, this public research university has a strong engineering program and offers a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering.

These are just a few suggestions- I am sure there are many more options out there! You can use BigFuture on Collegeboard to find schools with the programs you are interested in and recommendations based on your academic profile.
