Early Decision - Worth The Risk

I have a school that I would like to apply for early decision but it is very expensive and based on the college aid pro site, it doesn't look like I would get much taken off admission. If you are accepted ED, can you try and negotiate or if too expensive are you able to make a change?

Early Decision is binding, unlike Early Action. With ED, you will withdraw your other applications upon acceptance. I would consider it carefully. Are you sure this is The school and The direction you want to head? (Also, remember that you can transfer if you don't like it after a semester or two.) If this school and major is SUPER important to you, you won't mind doing what you need to do to make it work financially, whether that be working OR applying for scholarship over and over (recommend you check out The Scholarship System on Youtube).

Consider it carefully and I recommend getting advice from parents, teachers and any other mentors you have!

Hope this helps and lmk if you have any questions.
