school ideas for comp sci or mostly anything stem related

hi, im a rising junior at a highschool in North Carolina. Right now, Im doing pretty good (I think/hope) school/grade wise. Currently I have a 1500 SAT, 3.93 unweighted gpa, 4.6 weighted gpa and only have taken 4 aps:

Calculus AB -> 5

Physics A -> 4

Computer Science Principles -> 4

APUSH -> 2

I was also wondering if my 2 in APUSH would hold me back in any way, or the 4 in CSP (especially because I want to major in computer science).

Also what are some good college choices I should apply to? I live in North Carolina.

I don’t have much advice for test scores (sorry) but I highly recommend trying Duke as an in-state college for commuter programming. They have a lot of good resources for majors of those sorts there! I wish you luck!

Don't submit anything under a 3 for an AP exam and you should be fine. You should take AP CSA and aim for a 5 next time, if you're already programming, the exam is extremely easy. If you want to stay in-state for CS, Duke, UNC (Chapel Hill or Charlotte), Davidson and NCSU are all good picks!
