I am a sophomore and have a thirteen percent chance on average for all Ivy Leagues I want to study psychology so Harvard would be the best for that and hopefully get a masters maybe a doctorate if I can afford it.
I would like to comment on this. Psychology is a heavily studied topic, there are alot of colleges that offer this as a major if not all of them. My reason as to why I would advise you to not go to an Ivy is purly based on the fact that there are schools that are way better in terms of Psychology that cost way less but are just as good if not better.
I agree on this...sometimes the stress and cost of a big name school is not worth it in the long run. Find a school that has a psychology program that will train you well/in the specific areas you want to be trained.
That being said, when it comes time for applications, you can apply to as many schools as you want/can practically handle, so there's nothing wrong with trying to get accepted into Harvard, even if you don't attend Harvard. Then you would have the choice if you decide it’s important to you.
