What should my school list look like?

I’m a seventeen year old senior with only vague ideas of what I want to do with my future. I didn’t put a lot of thought into it in the past, but now I am staring my graduation date down like it’s tomorrow!

My dream job is to be a forensic pathologist/medical examiner. I’m planning on being an RN while I am pursuing my higher-higher education, but I don’t really know where to start with that. My unweighted GPA isn’t the best (freshman year was beyond difficult) and I don’t think I’m eligible for many scholarships. What do I do? Should I jump right into the forensic schooling/biology major or go to nursing school for a moment?

Hey! If I were in your shoes I would enroll in my local community college (majoring in biology), then transfer to a 4-year school. Going that route would allow you to get the college experience without all the stress of moving out for the first time. I wish you the best of luck on your college journey! Stay true to your heart!

Nursing school could help you become better prepared for being a ME.
