Recommendations for Major

Following up a little bit on my previous post about school recommendations as a freshmen, I was wondering about what majors might suit me the best. I'm very interested in STEM/STEAM, and computers have always suited me quite well. I'm also an avid writer (albeit ELA is probably my weakest subject.) My high school does offer quite a few AP classes as well at CTE (Career Technical Education) Pathways which help prepare students for real-world jobs- the CTE pathways also have AP class prerequisites if I'm not mistaken. The two CTE pathways I'm interested in are relating to computer science and biology/chemistry. Any recommendations?

Hey, don't stress too much about choosing a major right now. You've just started high school, so focus on getting settled in first. You can start thinking about your major by joining clubs or exploring different classes. It's okay to take your time with this decision. Freshman year is about enjoying yourself and adjusting to high school life, but it's also important to aim for at least a 3.0 GPA as a safety net. Have fun, pursue your interests, and be open to new experiences. Remember, you're going to grow and change a lot in the next few years, so make the most of this time while also giving it your best effort. If you don't put in the effort now, it might be harder to achieve your future goals. In short, give it your all, but also take the time to explore and enjoy your first year of high school.
