Should I got to University Of Toronto?

Hello :D I'm currently a junior in highschool wanting to major in political science and was looking towards applying to UofT, Canada, I heard a lot of great things about the school as well as not so great things and was wondering if it was worth putting as a target school for political science or if there are any other schools I should apply for that have a good reputation but not crazy low acceptance rates?

You say that you've heard some "not so great things" about UofT. Take these things into account—how do they apply to you and is it likely that you will be affected these things? Do the pros outweigh the cons? If so, list it as a target school.

But, if you decide that UofT isn't a good fit, here are a few universities/colleges that have a more positive reputation:

- University of Texas at Austin (31% acceptance rate)

- University of Georgia (43% acceptance rate)

- Arizona State University (90% acceptance rate)

- University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (45% acceptance rate)

Usually schools with good political science programs are very selective. These are some of the less selective programs. Good luck!
