Hi cutie! Welcome to high school :)

I'm a junior- my dream school is also UCLA. A few things I would tell my past self-

Pick a hobby or extracurricular and stick with it. Do it all four years of high school. Show commitment and care for your time.

Join clubs and move to leadership roles in those clubs! Grow as a person and help others grow with you.

Focus in class. Try your best. Your GPA does matter. Take hard classes, but also classes that you enjoy and set yourself up for success.

Also take care of your mental health. You will never get into college if you're dragging yourself down.

Intern or take courses outside of school in what you're interested in.

Have fun with your friends! Make memories! Volunteer and do community service! Make the most of your time in high school, because those will teach you a lot, and it will also give you things to write about in college essays!

Good luck with engineering and acting. And remember, if you don't get into UCLA, it's not the end of the world. Make sure you apply to safety schools- UCLA is hard to get into.

If you don't, it's okay. You'll do great things no matter what school you go to.

If you do, congratulations :) You'll still do great things. Enjoy freshman year :)
