UCLA prospective students

Heyyy Guys so my GPA for my 10th grade was 4.1 but it dropped to a 3.2 in my 11th Grade so are my chances still up or na

Also I broke my hand in my ninth grade so didn't really give the finals my EC are good tho loads of community service International level sports 2 internships Student body council and several other things as well.

Hi there @Paperika12,

While colleges definitely want to see upward trending grades, if you clear their threshold for the Academic Index your application will still be reviewed. The UCs have a GPA minimum of 3.0 for in-state students and 3.4 for out-of-state students.

You can write about any extenuating circumstances that led to your GPA dip in the Additional Comments section on the UC application.
