Rigor

I know that rigor is an important aspect for UCLA admissions. but in my country APs don't exist. but i did take 15 regular classes per semester (yes students can do that here) will that make my application more rigorous?

Hi there @Gygy,

You'll want to take the most rigorous options available at your school. This can look different from school to school depending on what's offered, or available for you to take. If taking 15 courses is rigorous for your school/above average, then you're on the right track!

Best,

Priya

Hi! UCLA takes into account how many APs/honors your school offers, so you won't be penalized for that. Taking 15 classes per semester will likely help your application, especially if a good amount of them are oriented towards the major you'd like to pursue :)
