Will being homeschooled affect my chances? How can I make up for it?

Hello! I am a homeschooled student, aspiring for prestigious schools. Are there any resources that may aid me in my pursuit? Any insight or tips are greatly appreciated!! :)

Being a homeschooled student will not harm your chances to get into prestigious schools. If anything, colleges appreciate homeschooled students, since they bring a diverse perspective to campus. You will be competitive so long as you are able to accomplish the following things:

- Take the most rigorous classes available, ideally AP/IBs

- Do extracurriculars that demonstrate leadership and real-world impact. You will want to do several that all relate to your career/major direction

- Write stellar application essays
