Third Year of Language
Answered

Hey there, I'm currently a sophomore in high school. I'm going to take my second language year next year, ASL 2. However, I know that UCs look for a third year of language. I don't want to take ASL 3 because ASL 2 and ASL 3 are combined in the same class and learn the same stuff. If I take ASL 3 at a community college, what UCLA take it positively?

UCLA will absolutely see a dual enrollment ASL 3 class as a positive! Dual enrollment classes are seen as nearly equal in rigor to AP/IB classes, and taking ASL until year three will make you stand out in the applicant pool. Hope this helps!
