Hi everyone,I'm an international prospective student. I am aware that UCLA does not provide fully-funded scholarships for international students, but is there any chance to get scholarship anyway? I trust my academic achievements and language proficiency. I would be really glad if you can inform me. Thanks.
You may be able to get a scholarship award from UCLA if you have received an award from another university. Though it is not UCLA's official policy to give scholarships to international students, they do not want to lose qualified applicants to other schools. Because of this, you can ask UCLA's financial aid office to match the other school's scholarship offer. There is no guarantee that they will agree to match it, but it is worth trying.
If UCLA does not give you a scholarship, you can always apply to private scholarships for international students.
Hope this helps!
