Amy Kramer graduated from Duke University in 2018 as a Robertson Scholar with highest honors in Public Policy and Political Science. She then earned her master’s degree in Global Affairs from Tsinghua University (Beijing, China) as a Schwarzman Scholar. Amy is a DC-based government employee working for the Department of Defense, but before joining the civil service, she worked in the Duke Office of Government Relations and also served a two-year term on the Duke Board of Trustees. Amy is a professional copy-editor with extensive experience advising domestic and international students throughout the entire college application process, at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Amy has copy-edited over 500,000 words as a college essay consultant for three companies and comprehensively managed essay content development for hundreds of individual clients since 2014.
