USC, like many other universities, publishes a middle 50% ACT score range rather than an average. For the last reported class, the ACT composite score range for the middle 50% of admitted students was between 31 and 35. This means that 25% of admitted students scored below 31 and 25% scored above 35. Just remember though, standardized test scores are just one component of the application process. USC also looks at your grades, the rigor of your coursework, your extracurricular involvement, essays, and letters of recommendation to get a full picture of who you are as a student. Don't let one score deter you from applying if you're passionate about the school.
