Dual Enrollment Transcript Submission?

Hey folks! I'm a dual-enrollment student and I'm at a bit of a loss as to where I should be sending off my transcript. Does it go to each of the colleges individually or is there a common portal I should be using? Thanks in advance!

Hey there! Cool that you're doing dual enrollment! Usually, you send college transcripts directly to the universities you're applying to. Now, in terms of dual enrollment, this usually means both your high school and the college where you're taking the courses.

Here's a rough workflow:

1. Request your official college transcript from the institution administering your dual enrollment courses. Check the college's website - they'll usually have step-by-step instructions.

2. Once you obtain your transcript, you then send it to each college you're applying to. Most colleges have transcript submission instructions on their admission website, including addresses for the admissions office (for paper transcripts) or information on digital submission if they allow that.

3. For the Common App, you'll note on the Education portion of your application that you've taken college level courses. You don't upload your transcript to the Common App but send it directly to the universities.

Remember to keep track of your deadlines, and sending them off earlier rather than later can help avoid any last-minute stress. Happy applying!
