Is there a simple high school GPA calculator I can use?

I'm a bit stressed trying to figure out my GPA after this semester. I've seen a bunch of different calculators online but they all seem to have different features. Can someone recommend a straightforward high school GPA calculator that takes weighted classes into consideration?

Absolutely, navigating GPA calculations can be a little tricky, especially when you're juggling both weighted and unweighted classes. A tool I often recommend to my students is the CollegeBoard's GPA calculator. It's user-friendly and allows for both weighted (like honors and AP classes) and unweighted grades. Just make sure you know whether your school uses a 4.0, 4.5, or 5.0 scale for weighted classes.

Another option is your school's student information system; some have a built-in GPA calculator that automatically takes your coursework and grades from your transcript. Moreover, some high schools provide a GPA calculation guide that can be quite helpful – ask your school counselor if this resource is available.

Remember, the end goal is to understand where you stand academically, and from there, you can work on your study plans or discuss your academic progress with your counselor. I hope this helps, and don't hesitate to ask for assistance from your school counseling office - that's what we're here for!
