Which colleges are best for women in AI?

I've been coding and messing around with AI stuff in my free time. It's my passion and something I want to take further. Which colleges offer the best programs for AI, particularly with a strong support network for women?

A few standout universities have strong AI programs and dedicated support for women in the field:

1. Stanford University: Over the years, Stanford's Artificial Intelligence Lab has been a pioneer in this field. Stanford's Women in Computer Science (WiCS) promotes and supports the growing community of women in both academia and industry.

2. Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT): MIT's Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) is composed of around 50 research groups, many of them focusing on AI. To help promote gender diversity in its Computer Science and AI programs, MIT has several organizations such as Women in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (WiEECS) and Graduate Women at MIT (GWAMIT).

3. Carnegie Mellon University (CMU): CMU's School of Computer Science is renowned for specialization in AI. CMU offers strong support networks like Women@SCS to provide a wide range of opportunities for women.

4. University of California, Berkeley (UC Berkeley): Apart from a diverse AI program under its Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences, it also has organizations like Women in Computer Science and Engineering (WiCSE) which offers a supportive community.

5. Harvard University: While not as well-known for AI as the previous schools, Harvard's John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences offers a strong Computer Science program with AI research opportunities. The Harvard Women in Computer Science (WiCS) Club supports and promotes women in the field.

Remember, finding the right fit is as much about university culture, location, and support systems as it is about specific program reputation. Reach out to the respective departments and student organizations in these colleges to get a sense of which might be the best fit for you.
