Applying to HBCUs

Hey everyone! I've been researching 'the most popular black colleges' as I'm considering applying to a historically black college/university (HBCU). I'd like to know more about what makes these HBCUs popular? Is it their culture, courses, or something else?

Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) have a range of appealing attributes that can make them attractive to students. One of the primary aspects is the rich cultural and historical context associated with attending an HBCU. These institutions were established during a time when segregation prohibited African American students from attending predominantly white institutions, and they still offer a unique setting that celebrates the history and accomplishments of African Americans.
