Diversity in colleges within North Carolina

I'm a junior in high school from NC and I am looking to stay in-state for college. One of my priorities, however, is to be in an inclusive and diverse environment. So, which colleges in NC have the most diverse student body?

In North Carolina, there are several colleges that are known for having diverse student bodies both in terms of racial and ethnic diversity as well as diversity of backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences.

1. University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC Chapel Hill): This university has worked diligently over the years to cultivate a campus culture that values and supports diversity. UNC Chapel Hill has a wide variety of departments and initiatives aimed at promoting diversity and inclusivity, such as the Campus Y, the Sonja Haynes Stone Center for Black Culture and History, and Carolina Latina/o Collaborative.

2. North Carolina State University (NC State): NC State is another institution with a reputation for diversity. It has various offices and programs aimed at supporting multicultural student affairs and has been recognized for its efforts in providing opportunities for underrepresented students.
