What's the most popular major in college?

Hi guys! As a high school junior looking to gear up for college, I'm curious about what the most popular major is. I know my interests should mainly guide my choices, but, could knowing this help me consider career paths or the crowd I might be in?

Based on collected data and consistent trends over the years, the most popular undergraduate major in U.S. colleges is Business Administration and Management. This is followed closely by similar disciplines like Marketing and Accounting. These majors attract a lot of students due to the wide array of career paths they open up in various industries.

Psychology, Nursing, and Biology also frequently appear on lists of the most popular majors, due to the high demand for professionals in related fields like healthcare and social services. Computer Science is also increasingly popular, given the exponential growth of technology and the digital economy.

Knowing the most popular majors could potentially be helpful in understanding where a large part of the student population is heading career-wise. Keep in mind, however, that popularity does not necessarily equate to job availability or salary potential, and choosing a major should be dependent on your interests, skills, and long-term career goals. The size or popularity of your intended major could impact classroom sizes, availability of courses, and competitiveness, but each college varies.

Remember, many students change their major at least once after starting college, so you still have time to explore your interests as you go along and find out what works best for you.
