How to request military transcripts for college admissions?

I am planning to leverage my military experience for college admissions. Does anybody here know how to request military transcripts for this purpose? Would really appreciate any info on it!

Sure, I can help with that! It's great that you're planning to use your military experience for your college applications. Having your military transcripts can also provide proof of your professional development and can possibly be considered for college credit.

If you're a veteran of the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, or Coast Guard, your transcript request can be made through the Joint Services Transcript (JST) website. JST is a program that provides a way for service members to get college credit for their military experience. Once you're logged into the JST website, you can select to have an official transcript sent directly to the school.

If you served in the Air Force, you would request your transcripts through the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF). You can request an official transcript on the CCAF website.

I'd recommend reaching out directly to the veteran resources at your desired university as well. They often have specific guidance and resources available to help make your transition from military to student life easier.

Remember, obtaining these transcripts may take a bit of time, so start early to ensure they arrive before your application deadlines. Good luck with your college applications and thank you for your service!
