Can anyone recommend HBCUs with strong nursing programs?

I'm a junior interested in pursuing a nursing career and I want to consider HBCUs. Are there any HBCUs renowned for their nursing programs or with really good track records in nursing education?

Certainly! It's admirable that you're considering HBCUs for your nursing education. Howard University is one notable HBCU with a well-established College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences. They offer a range of nursing programs, including a BSN, that are quite rigorous and prepare students very well for the NCLEX exam.

Another institution to look into is Hampton University; their School of Nursing has a great reputation and provides a variety of nursing paths from undergraduate to doctorate levels. Also, Winston-Salem State University's nursing program is known for its high NCLEX pass rates and strong academic support services. I recommend visiting each university's website and reviewing their nursing program specifics, talking to admissions representatives, and if possible, arranging campus visits.

This should give you a thorough sense of each program's strengths and how they align with your career aspirations in nursing. Best wishes as you explore your options!
