What's been the most educational thing you've learned in high school?

Hi everyone, I'm a junior who's genuinely curious about the different things we learn in high school. I'm wondering, what's the most educational or mind-blowing thing you've learned in high school that has stuck with you?

Many students have reflected on how high school truly helped them understand the importance of critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Instead of rote learning, students are encouraged to think critically about the course content and solve problems from multiple perspectives which they've found to be highly educational.

For example, in history class, students are not merely being asked to remember dates and events. They are encouraged to analyze the causes and consequences of these events, understand the different perspectives, and discuss the possible outcomes if things were handled differently. This has been a game-changer because it allows them to think independently and nurture them to become informed global citizens. These skills then become beneficial when they transition to the college environment where independent and critical thinking is highly valued.

What about you? What has been the most educational part of high school for you so far?
