What schools are on the Coalition App, and why pick them?

I've just discovered the Coalition App and it seems like a good fit for me. Could someone list some of the schools that use the Coalition App? Also, I’m curious—if a school is on both Coalition and Common App, why would someone choose the Coalition App for that school?

The Coalition App includes a variety of member schools, which are often selective institutions. Just to name a few examples, you've got Ivy League schools like Princeton, public universities such as the University of Maryland, and smaller colleges like Reed College. The complete list can be found on the Coalition for College website.

Now, as to why someone might choose the Coalition App over the Common App when both are options: Some students might prefer the Coalition app's interface or find its tools, like the Locker feature, particularly useful for organizing their application materials. Some students appreciate how the Coalition App encourages reflection on your achievements through its activities section which might resonate more with certain students.

Furthermore, the Coalition App has a focus on access and affordability, which might appeal to students with a particular interest in those values. However, for the most part, choosing one over the other is a matter of personal preference. Ultimately, ensure to weigh the pros and cons of each platform and choose the one that aligns best with how you wish to present your college applications.
