College Student's Study time - especially for Engineering?

Hello! So I've been pondering over how college works in general, specifically for engineering students. I simply want to know, what time do most of these students usually study and how do they manage it alongside their regular coursework?

Engineering students tend to have a more intensive schedule due to the complex coursework involved. It primarily hinges on the individual's study habits, but typically, their study time is interspersed throughout the day, to best accommodate their lecture hours, lab sessions, and group study meetings.

One strategy that many engineering students find helpful is to study in chunks. After attending a lecture, take an hour or two to go over the material while it's fresh in your mind. In the later hours of the day, study independently, or work on assignments, focusing on more demanding tasks when you feel most alert. Keep weekend mornings for reviewing the entire week's lectures and finishing any pending assignments.

It's also critical to use good time-management techniques. Managing a regular study schedule, staying organized with tasks and assignments, and dedicating specific hours for self-study can greatly help. One popular method is the Pomodoro Technique, in which students study intensely for 25 minutes and then take a 5-minute break.

It can be helpful to apply problem-solving methods directly after learning about them in lectures or tutorials. Practicing immediately helps reinforce the learning and identify any gaps in understanding. Lab work, which is hands-on, serves this purpose nicely.
