At what time do most College Students wake up?

Hey everyone! Just curious, from your experiences or those of friends, what time do college students generally begin their day? Especially students following fields like STEM or Art, if that makes any difference. I'm trying to get a grip of what my future routine might be like if I attend a traditional 4-year college after high school. Thanks in advance!

Sure thing, happy to provide some info! College students' schedules often vary significantly depending on their classes, fields of study, work-study or job times, if they're involved in extracurricular activities, or if they have a more nocturnal study schedule.

STEM students might have earlier mornings if they have labs that often start early in the morning. It's not uncommon for labs to start around 8 or 9 am.

On the other hand, art students could have studio classes at varying times throughout the day, and often have the freedom to work on projects during their own time. It's common for some art students to work late into the night in their studios.

Moreover, much like in high school, the schedule might change each day depending on the class schedule for that day. One day, a student might have a 9 am class and so needs to wake up around 7:30 am-8:00 am, and the next, the first class might not be until noon.

In aggregate, if we consider the median wake-up time for general college students, it might be roughly around 8 am-9 am. However, again, it's important to note much of this depends on your personal schedule and habits. Some students wake up with the sun, while others will opt for afternoon and evening classes to catch extra sleep.

Remember, college is a time to cultivate your habits - so ensure you're giving your body enough rest and balance your responsibilities well!
