Value of a college education?

I've been thinking a lot about what heading off to college will mean in terms of my education. What do you guys value most bout your college education? Is it the breadth and depth of knowledge? Or more of the skills and hands-on experiences?

As a person familiar with college education, the value can be viewed in many ways and is often unique to each individual.
