What do I need for SAT ID requirements?

I'm a bit anxious about not having the right ID on test day. Can someone please walk me through what's acceptable for SAT ID requirements? I've got a school ID and a driver's permit. Are both of these okay or do I need something else?

No need to worry! For the SAT, the College Board requires a photo ID to check in. Your school ID is an acceptable form of identification, provided it is a current, original, valid ID issued by your school, college, or city/state, and it includes your name, your recognizable photograph, and your signature on the ID. As for your driver's permit, it's equally valid if it has similar details like your photo and signature. Just remember, the name on your ID must match the name you used when you registered for the SAT. Photocopies or digital ID versions won't be accepted, so make sure to bring the original physical document. If your school ID doesn't have all of those elements or isn't current, it's best to use your driver's permit, or you might want to consider getting a state ID or passport. Be at ease knowing you're prepared by checking the College Board website for any updates before test day. Good luck!
