Most High School Graduates by State

Hello folks, I've been trying to find out which states have the most high school graduates. Would this info be available somewhere or does anyone have any insights? Would help me in figuring out states with good education.

The National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) is a resource that publishes data on educational attainment rates on a state-by-state basis. This information includes the percentage of adults (over 25 years old) who have a high school diploma or higher.

When looking at the most recent data available, states like New Hampshire, Minnesota, Vermont, and Washington, D.C., tend to rank high in high school graduation rates. Meanwhile, states like Nevada and New Mexico tend to be on the lower end.

However, we must remember that high graduation rates don't necessarily equate to quality education. There are several other indicators to consider. These might include standardized test scores, student-to-teacher ratios, school funding, college readiness, and teacher quality among others. Not to mention, individual school districts within states can significantly vary in quality.

Also, keep in mind this data solely represents the number of people who have graduated high school. This doesn't account for whether a large portion of these graduates move out of state for work or college.

In conclusion, consider this a starting point, but it will take a more in-depth look to truly assess the quality of education in different states.
