Easiest College Course

Just to balance out my schedule, I was thinking it might be a good idea to throw in a 'gimme' course. Anyone have any suggestions for what's considered the easiest course in college?

It's understandable that you want to maintain a balanced course load! However, remember that "easiest" can vary greatly from person to person. What seems simple to one student might be challenging to another due to variations in individual skills and interests.

That being said, there are a few common types of classes that some students find less demanding. A few examples include intro-level courses in areas such as philosophy, sociology, or communication. These often have a broad focus, giving you a general overview of the subject, and may not require in-depth technical knowledge.

Physical education or recreational activity courses, like Yoga or Introduction to Golf, can also be considered "lighter" course options because most of the grade is usually based on participation.

Sometimes, art, music, or theater courses can be less academically rigorous, especially if they focus more on practical application or creativity as opposed to theory. For instance, an Intro to Drawing or Mural Painting class might be less stressful if you enjoy hands-on activities.

These examples aren't absolute, though; everyone has different strengths and weaknesses. A good rule of thumb is to choose a course that aligns with your interests or hobbies – something you'd enjoy learning about, even outside of an academic context. Not only can this make the coursework feel easier, but it could also make the class more enjoyable!
