Breadth of Course Availability in College

Hey guys, this might be a broad question, but which colleges are known to offer the most courses? I have a pretty wide range of interests and I'm hoping to explore those during college, so a school that offers a lot of courses would be ideal for me.

Many colleges and universities offer a wide range of courses with cross-disciplinary flexibility in their curriculum. But there are a few that stand out in terms of breadth and diversity:

1. Harvard University: With over 3,700 courses in 50 undergraduate fields of study, Harvard is one of the universities renowned for its extensive course list.

2. Stanford University: Its seven schools collectively offer thousands of courses each quarter, covering a wide array of subjects. It's also well-known for its interdisciplinary programs.

3. University of California, Berkeley: Well-regarded for offering more than 350 degree programs in a variety of disciplines through its 15 colleges and schools.

4. University of Michigan, Ann Arbor: This university offers 275 programs of study across its 19 schools and colleges.

5. University of Southern California: USC offers over 150 majors and minors, encompassing a rich diversity of subjects.

Remember, a bigger course catalog isn't always better. It's equally important that the courses be high-quality and align with your academic goals. In addition, quality advising and manageable class sizes can often be better indicators of your ability to dig into and explore diverse interests effectively. As you explore these universities further, you may also want to consider these factors in addition to the breadth of course availability.
