Top university for premed students?

Hey everyone, lately, I’ve been considering a career in medicine and so, obviously, a pre-med track seems like a logical choice. I was wondering, does anyone know which college has the most premeds? Maybe it would be a good fit for me!

Philadelphia's Penn State University has one of the largest population of pre-med students in the country. They have over 3,000 of them, so you'd certainly be in good company if you decided to go there. In addition to its size, the program's strong reputation and robust resources—like their Med School Early Assurance Program and the Health Professions Advising Center—make it an attractive choice for many aspiring doctors.

Other high-ranking pre-med programs typically have large student populations as well. This includes Johns Hopkins, which is well-known for its medical programs and research opportunities, and Harvard University, which boasts a high medical school acceptance rate for its students.

Keep in mind though, the size of the program or its prestige should not be the only factors that influence your decision. It could also be helpful to consider things like the academic support services available, opportunities for hands-on experience (like internships and research), and even the guidance provided for the often complicated med school application process. Remember, every student's path to medical school is unique, so what works best for you might be different from what has worked for others in the past.
