Colleges with ED2 options

I'm trying to finalize my college application strategy and I'm interested in schools that offer ED2. I've applied to an ED1 school, but I want to know my options for ED2 if things don't work out. Can anyone share some info on which colleges have ED2? It would be super helpful!

Sure, there are many colleges that offer Early Decision II (ED2) as part of their application process. Here are a few notable ones:

1. Vanderbilt University: Vanderbilt is a highly selective school known for strong programs in education, engineering, law, and medicine.

2. Emory University: Emory is known for its programs in business and healthcare, and it's set in Atlanta, which provides a host of internships and job opportunities.

3. Tufts University: Tufts has top-notch International Relations and Biology programs.

4. Johns Hopkins University: JHU is renowned for its strong programs in Public Health, Engineering, and International Studies.

5. Claremont McKenna College: CMC, part of the Claremont Colleges consortium in Southern California, is known for its strong programs in economics, government, and psychology.

6. The University of Chicago: Known for its rigorous curricula, the University of Chicago has a very strong program in the social sciences and humanities.

7. Swarthmore College: A small liberal arts college known for its rigorous academics and Honor Program.

Remember, ED2 works similarly to ED1 where if you're accepted, it's a binding agreement to attend. Therefore, an ED2 application should be made to a school you're absolutely committed to attending, and have researched adequately including financial aid and net price. If your financial circumstances would prevent you from committing to a school without comparing financial aid offers from other institutions, then ED might not be the best option for you.

Best of luck with your applications!
