What's the dorm situation like at Flagler College?

I'm considering applying to Flagler College and I'm curious about what their dorms are like. Can anyone share their experiences or insights on how the dorm life is? I'm particularly interested in knowing about the size of the rooms, the amenities provided, and whether the dorms are located conveniently to campus facilities. Also, any tips on the best dorms to request would be super helpful!

Flagler College offers several on-campus housing options to its students that have unique features. The residence halls on Flagler's campus include Ponce De Leon Hall, Cedar Hall, Lewis House, and FEC Towers.

Ponce De Leon Hall is actually the historic hotel built by Henry Flagler, and staying here, you'll really experience the historical essence of the school. The rooms in Ponce De Leon Hall are a bit smaller compared to other dorms due to it being a historic building, but it's known for its beautiful architecture. This hall is conveniently located right on campus, making it accessible to classrooms and other campus facilities - a feature most students really appreciate.

Speaking of Cedar Hall, it's one of the newer dorms and its rooms are suite-style, meaning you share a common area and bathroom with another room. Cedar Hall also has its own laundry facilities which is a bonus.

Lewis House also offers suite-style living, much like Cedar Hall, but is an all-female dormitory.

FEC Towers, located downtown, offers suite-style rooms as well but they have the advantage of kitchens, so if you're someone who likes making meals on your own, it might be an option to consider.

Each dorm has Air Conditioning, which is very important in Florida's climate. They also have free laundry facilities, WiFi and common areas for socializing and studying, which fosters a sense of community.

In terms of requesting dorms, it really depends on your personal preferences but I hope the details above help you make a decision. Remember to apply for housing as soon as you can after you've been accepted, as the housing assignment is done on a first-come, first-served basis. Good luck!
