The first-year dorms, like the historic area or the Danieley Center, are pretty comfortable, providing standard dormitory facilities. You might get a single, double, or triple room depending on your preferences and availability.

As for the social scene, living in the dorms definitely fosters a sense of community. The first-year dorms, in particular, are known for their lively atmosphere and fun activities organized through Residential Learning Communities (RLCs) that enable you to connect with your peers over shared interests. The Danieley Center, which hosts many first years, also has a unique setup with "flats" that foster a bit more of a close-knit environment.
