Hey peeps, I'm beat from writing all these apps. For the Harvard optional essay, is it genuinely 'optional'? Does not submitting one look bad? How did y'all decide whether to submit an optional essay or skip it?
Hey there! I understand how exhausting the college application process can be. However, optional essays really should be completed, as not doing them will show you're not that interested. The only exception to this is if the essay is asking about exceptional personal circumstances; if you don't have any, that would be okay to skip.
