Hardest Tests in the US

I was wondering, what are considered the most difficult tests high school students can take in the US? Any specific AP or IB exams? Just curious what others think!

Hey there! That's an interesting question. The difficulty of a test can certainly be subjective and may vary depending on a student's strengths and interests. However, based on what I've observed, some of the commonly considered challenging AP exams include AP Physics C: Mechanics and Electricity & Magnetism, AP Chemistry, AP Calculus BC, and AP Biology. These courses tend to have complex concepts and often require strong mathematical and analytical skills.

On the IB side, HL Math, HL Physics, and HL Chemistry are typically viewed as some of the toughest exams due to their advanced content and the level of critical thinking required. Of course, other exams can be challenging as well, especially if they cover subjects that a student may not be as familiar with.

Ultimately, the difficulty of a particular test will depend on an individual's background, learning style, and personal interests. It's always a good idea to challenge oneself with hard tests, but it shouldn't get in the way of your other studies and mental health. Hope this helps!
