JHU ED2 Application Advice

I'm considering applying to Johns Hopkins University through their ED2 program. Can someone who has gone through the process provide some insights, advice or suggestions? I'd really appreciate any help!

Make sure to research the school thoroughly and really understand why JHU is the right fit for you. You should be genuine and passionate about your reasons for wanting to attend. In your essay, you'll want to talk about specific programs, research opportunities, or campus organizations that drew you to Johns Hopkins—rather than saying "I want to study English at Johns Hopkins," mention a particular English class or professor that you find particularly intriguing.

You can find more information about how to tackle the essay on CollegeVine's blog: https://blog.collegevine.com/how-to-write-the-johns-hopkins-university-essays. Also remember that, if you want a second pair of eyes on your essay, CollegeVine offers both free peer essay review and paid review by expert college admissions advisors.

Finally, make sure everything is as polished as possible, from the format of your activities list to the punctuation in your essay. The advantage of applying ED2 is that you get to show the school they're truly the one for you, but sloppiness will make your interest seem disingenuous.

Good luck with your application, and I hope this helps!
