What's campus life like at Ohio State University?

I'm considering applying to Ohio State University and I'm wondering what the campus life is like there. How's the student vibe, and are there any must-know aspects of living on campus?

Ohio State University is one of the largest universities in the US, so you'll have plenty of diverse experiences when it comes to campus life.

The first thing to note is that Ohio State is located in Columbus, which is a reasonably large city in itself. This means beyond just campus life, you'll have opportunities for city excursions and cultural experiences.

Campus activities are robust too! You have over 1,000 student organizations to consider joining. These range from academic clubs, like the Economics Club, to recreational clubs, such as the Sailing Club.

One must-know aspect of life on campus is that Ohio State has a strong sports culture. They're known for their Buckeyes football team, but other sports also have an active following. Participating in these events, even just as a spectator, can provide you with a sense of community and school spirit.

The University also offers multiple dining options with various cuisines to cater to different dietary needs and preferences, there are fitness centers and libraries scattered throughout campus which are all easily accessible.
