Estimating SAT Score from a 1230 PSAT

Hello! I just received my PSAT score of 1230 and I'm curious how this might translate to my SAT score. Will it be similar or is it possible to see a significant increase? Also, any advice on improving would be greatly appreciated!

Congratulations on your PSAT score! While a 1230 PSAT score does not translate directly to an SAT score, it can give you a rough idea of where you might land. It's estimated that your SAT score might be around 1330, give or take. Keep in mind, this is a rough conversion and your actual score could be higher or lower. Check out this CollegeVine article for more information: https://blog.collegevine.com/psat-to-sat-score-conversion-predict-your-score

In order to improve your score, I'd recommend taking several practice tests and focusing on areas where you need the most improvement. Additionally, make use of available resources like Khan Academy, which offers free SAT prep materials, and consider seeking help from a tutor or joining a study group. Don't forget to stay up-to-date on the College Board's testing schedule, as it's crucial to plan and register for the SAT test in a timely manner. Good luck with your preparations and future SAT!
