Which universities have the most study abroad programs?

I really want to study abroad during college, but I'm not sure where to start looking. Which universities offer the most study abroad programs or have strong international partnerships? I want to make sure I pick a school with great opportunities.

There are numerous universities well-known for their extensive study abroad programs and international partnerships, and here are some of them:

1. New York University (NYU): NYU has a Global Network University model, and they maintain study abroad centers in Abu Dhabi, Buenos Aires, Accra, Berlin, Florence, London, Madrid, Paris, Prague, Sydney, Tel Aviv, Shanghai, and Washington D.C. These centers operate as full-fledged NYU campuses with the same services and resources that you'd get in New York City, making it a top choice for students interested in international study.

2. University of Southern California (USC): USC has partnerships with over 50 universities worldwide and exchange programs that span six continents. Courses taken while abroad can count towards degree progress, keeping students on track for graduation.

3. Middlebury College: Middlebury offers language-focused study abroad programs in China, Russia, Jordan, and various countries in Europe and Latin America through their Schools Abroad program. Students live, study, and intern in the host country while improving their language skills.

4. Georgetown University: Georgetown has study abroad programs that span more than 40 countries. They're distinguished by their direct matriculation programs, which allow students to attend a foreign university as if they were a local student.

5. Dartmouth College: With the Dartmouth Foreign Study Program, students can choose from more than 40 study away opportunities, where they'll take Dartmouth faculty-led courses in foreign institutions.

Please keep in mind that the number of programs does not necessarily equate to their quality. Factors to consider include the type of study abroad programs offered (semester-long, short-term, internship, research, etc.), opportunities for immersion in the host culture, academic rigor, support services provided, and cost. Make sure to research each school's specific offerings and how they align with your academic interests and personal goals.
