Best search engine for college students?

I'm always on the lookout for new tools to help with my research and assignments. What's the best search engine specifically designed for college students and school-related projects? Any favorites out there?

Well, there are a number of search engines that could be beneficial for college students!

First up, if you're primarily concerned with academic research, then Google Scholar can be incredibly helpful. It focuses solely on scholarly literature and academic sources, which means books, theses, conference papers, and academic journals.

Another one you might find useful is Refseek. This is a student-focused search engine that aims to make academic information easily accessible to everyone. It removes results like sponsored links and ads, and only shows relevant results, which can really cut down on the time it takes to sift through results.

Then we have Educational Resources Information Center (ERIC) that is an online library of education research and information. It provides access to educational literature and resources dating back to 1966.

You might also want to check out WorldCat, which enables users to search for books, music, videos and articles in libraries all over the world. It's a fantastic resource for finding material that otherwise might be hard to access.

Finally, consider using your own college's library systems! They often have dedicated search engines and databases with access to thousands of academic sources. It might also be helpful to learn how Boolean search operators work to help narrow down your search results no matter which search engine you're using.

Remember, critical thinking is vital when evaluating sources—always cross-check and reference against reliable sources. Hope this helps!
