Temple University's approach to rolling admissions?

I'm considering applying to Temple University using rolling admissions, but not sure how it works there. Does anyone know the timeline for applying and receiving a decision? I want to prepare myself accordingly.

Temple University's rolling admissions process means they review applications and release decisions on an ongoing basis. You can apply as early as August 1st for the following fall semester. Typically, once you've submitted your application and all required materials, you should receive a decision within 4-6 weeks. However, in busier periods such as December or January, the turnaround time can be a bit longer.

While there's no hard deadline for applications, applying earlier in the cycle might be beneficial as it allows you more time to prepare for next steps, such as seeking housing or arranging your course schedule, once you receive a decision. Additionally, certain programs may have specific deadlines, so make sure to research your intended major's requirements as well.

Lastly, keep in mind that financial aid is also awarded on a rolling basis at Temple University, with priority given to those who complete their FAFSA as soon as possible after it becomes available on October 1st. So, applying early might also be beneficial from a financial standpoint.
