Which New England colleges have rolling admissions?

I'm considering staying in New England for college and I'm curious about schools that offer rolling admissions. Does anyone know which ones I should check out or have had good experiences with?

Sure, quite a few New England colleges offer rolling admissions. I'll list some for you, though remember to double-check each school's admissions policies as they can sometimes change.

1. University of Maine campuses (including Augusta, Farmington, Fort Kent, Machias, and Presque Isle campuses) all offer rolling admissions.

2. University of Southern Maine

3. Husson University in Maine

4. Plymouth State University in New Hampshire

5. University of Massachusetts campuses (except for UMass Amherst) operate on rolling admissions as well.

Also, the definition of "rolling admissions" can sometimes be confusing. With rolling admissions, colleges review applications as they receive them and make admissions decisions throughout the application window, rather than after the window closes. This might mean you hear back sooner, but not always. Remember your application will be stronger if you take the time to make sure it's the best representation of yourself rather than rushing to submit it early.

Lastly, don’t forget that visiting the colleges (either in-person or virtually), getting to know their culture, majors offered, location, etc., can help you make the ultimate decision of where to apply even beyond the admission policy structure.
