How can I make my application stand out if my GPA isn't great?

Hey guys! So, I'm a junior and my GPA isn't exactly where I'd like it to be. I know colleges look at more than just GPA, so what are some things I can do to make my application stand out despite having a lower GPA? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hi there! Don't worry too much about your GPA not being perfect. There are a few other ways you can make your application stand out! 1. Focus on your extracurricular activities. Colleges love to see students who are involved in their community and have a passion for something outside the classroom. 2. Write an excellent personal essay. This is your chance to showcase your personality, values, and what makes you unique. Make it compelling and memorable! 3. Secure strong letters of recommendation from teachers or mentors who can speak to your strengths and growth as a student. 4. If possible, try to improve your standardized test scores. A high SAT or ACT score can help offset a lower GPA. 5. Lastly, consider applying to colleges with holistic admissions processes. These schools look at the whole applicant, not just their GPA and test scores. They may be more likely to recognize your potential even if your GPA isn't as high as you'd like. Best of luck with your college applications!
