Oxford student population?

Does anybody know how many students are enrolled at Oxford University? It's one of those top schools I'm considering applying to, but I want to have a better understanding of the size and atmosphere of the school before making a decision.

Oxford University has a student population of around 24,000, with approximately 12,000 undergraduate students and another 12,000 pursuing postgraduate degrees. However, it's important to note that Oxford operates under a unique collegiate system, with 39 individual colleges and 6 Permanent Private Halls.

Each college functions as a separate academic and social community, creating smaller communities within the larger university. These colleges typically have between 300 and 700 students each, with a mix of undergraduates and postgraduates. This system allows for a more intimate learning environment and easier interaction with peers and faculty members.

While it's a large and well-known institution, Oxford's collegiate structure fosters a sense of belonging and personal connection. It's definitely worth considering if you're interested in attending a prestigious university with a strong academic and research focus, while still enjoying the benefits of smaller, tight-knit communities.
