Looking for colleges with good sports management programs

Hey everyone! I really want to study sports management in college, but I'm not sure which schools have strong programs in that area. Any recommendations on colleges with good sports management programs would be greatly appreciated!

Hey there! It's awesome to see someone interested in pursuing sports management. I have a few suggestions for colleges that have strong sports management programs.

1. University of Michigan - Ann Arbor: They have a highly-regarded program in Sport Management within their School of Kinesiology. Students get opportunities for internships and have access to the strong alumni network in the sports industry.

2. University of Massachusetts Amherst: The Mark H. McCormack Department of Sport Management in the Isenberg School of Management is well-known for its rigorous curriculum and focus on experiential learning. They have undergraduate, graduate, and online programs available.

3. Indiana University - Bloomington: IU offers programs in sport marketing & management within their School of Public Health. They emphasize hands-on experience and have a strong alumni network in various sport organizations.

4. University of Florida: The College of Health and Human Performance offers a Sport Management program with a solid curriculum and internship options. Students can get involved with Florida Gators athletics as well as professional sports teams in Florida.

5. University of South Carolina: USC's Department of Sport and Entertainment Management is housed within their College of Hospitality, Retail, and Sport Management. They offer a B.S. in Sport and Entertainment Management with a multidisciplinary approach to the field and experiential learning opportunities.

These are just a few examples of schools with well-regarded sports management programs. There are plenty of other great options out there, and I recommend researching further based on your individual preferences, such as location, size, and overall fit. Good luck in your search!
